After an unexpected pause, Janevca Kitchen & Lounge is ready to welcome guests back to the table with a renewed culinary direction shaped by culture, creativity, and a fresh perspective on Asian and Italian cuisine. Following a kitchen fire on April 11, 2026, Janevca Kitchen & Lounge temporarily closed its doors. The closure became an opportunity to reflect on the restaurant’s vision and prepare for its next chapter while remaining true to the spirit that has always defined it.
At the heart of this new direction is the meeting of Asian and Italian culinary traditions. Through the collaboration of our Hong Kong-born Culinary Director and Italian Executive Chef, Italian techniques meet Asian flavours to create a menu rooted in tradition and open to new ideas.
Inspired by Marco Polo and the Silk Road, Janevca explores how ingredients, techniques, and culinary traditions travel across cultures. Fresh, seasonal ingredients and wood-fired cooking bring depth and character to the experience, while the Lounge menu now features an expanded selection of wood-fired pizzas.

Following its temporary closure, the restaurant has reopened at full seating capacity, welcoming guests back with a refreshed culinary direction while staying true to its original character.
Where Did the Name Janevca Come From?
The name Janevca combines elements of the names of founder Lenny Moy and Jehane Moy’s three children: Janelle, Evan, and Cailee. This personal connection reflects the importance of family at the heart of the restaurant, where gathering around the table, sharing food, and creating meaningful experiences remain central to Janevca’s identity.
When Is Janevca Kitchen & Lounge Open?
Janevca Kitchen & Lounge is open seven days a week. The dining room serves guests from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m., with reservations available online. The Lounge and Veranda welcome walk-ins from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m., with drinks available in the Lounge until 10:30 p.m.
